The Riverford Polytechnic is a registered entity with the Corporate Affairs Commission to provide quality and affordable learning experience in Nigeria. The Riverford Polytechnic was approved to offer Diplomas and Professional Certificate Courses by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Rivers State. Riverford Polytechnic is the first Polytechnic in Nigeria to offer online and distance learning courses to students, adults and corporate individuals for there's no boundary in achieving quality education globally. With our online and distance learning platforms, you do not need to leave your family, job and location, all you need is a good network, mobile phone, laptop or computer system to study anywhere at your own pace and leisure. The Riverford Polytechnic has acquired a mass land around the ikwerre LGA of Rivers State to build its permanent campus in the next few years. The Riverford Polytechnic has received accreditation for its online courses from the African Association for Distance Learning Accreditation AADLA. By this accreditation, our graduates can proudly showcase their diplomas and certificates and write Riverford Polytechnic on their resume, our credentials are acceptable in all Institutions and organizations in Nigeria and beyond. The Riverford Polytechnic has approached the National Board for Technical Education and efforts are put in place towards the actualization of getting a formal recognition and accreditation.

A central focus of Riverford Polytechnic is to offer a transformative academic program that is responsive to the developmental and learning needs of our students. It will interest you to know that, Riverford Polytechnic, is an offshoot of Riverford Business School, Port Harcourt www.riverford.com.ng through ardent commitment towards providing and contributing to Human Resources development of Nigeria and beyond, has been a pivot for business education learning which has culminated into the creation of improved skilled manpower and enhanced industrial productivity. Our commitment to imparting our students with business education learning experiences and ICT skills has won the the heart of many in the educational industry.
